Jim Cashman is an American actor and writer who was born on January 31, 1967, in Arlington, Massachusetts. He is best known for his work on popular TV commercials, including his role as the "Mayhem" character in State Farm Insurance commercials and as one of the "Hollywood" aliens in the Verizon commercials.
Cashman began his career as a writer and performer at The Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles. He went on to write for and appear in numerous TV shows, including The King of Queens, Saturday Night Live, MADtv, and Conan.
Cashman has also appeared in several films, including The Boss, Brightburn, and I Love You, Man. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, he is also a prominent voiceover artist, lending his voice to a variety of animated shows and films.
Although not much personal information is available about Cashman, he has been married to Michelle Noh since 2003, and the couple has two children together.
